GED Information
- The General Educational Development (GED) test is a series of 4 subject tests that certify high-school level academic skills for individuals who did not graduate high school.
- The GED subjects are Mathematical Reasoning, Reasoning through Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
- Cost - $36/subject or $144 total for all four modules
- Subject tests can be taken all at once or at separate times.
- Must be 18+ to take the exam. 16-17 year-olds may take the exam with parental consent and school board permission.
- Tests can be taken online at home or at a testing center.

Pennsylvania HiSET Information
- The High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) is composed of 5 subject tests - Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, Writing.
- Offers both a computer or paper-and-pencil version of the test.
- While the test usually costs $23/subject of $115 total, PA residents may use the promo code PAFreeHiSET on the payment page during checkout to cover the cost of each subtest the first time you take the exam.
